Current State – Anime Style – 01/15/2013

Hey everyone, it’s scsa20 again. Some might be wondering (and a good majority might not be wondering) why there has been a lock of posts from me. Mainly because I haven’t watched much anime since the last review because of the holidays and other personal things along with different projects I’ve been working on (such as getting my Raspberry Pi working and loaded with RaspBMC which you can read about here).

In any case, here’s what I’ve watched so far and what I thought of it in this week’s current state (and I’ll make every attempt to do it every week from now on).

Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru (Oreshura) – 6/10

Kinda hard to judge this one out of the gate with only two episodes currently out but I think the story line is alright so far. The guy (Kidou Eita) isn’t a moron and knows what’s happening and not interested in love, his childhood best friend (Harusaki Chiwa) is in love with him that he knows about but shrugs it off since he’s not interested and only sees her as a younger sister, and here comes the most popular and prettiest girl in the school (Natsukawa Masuzu) who proclaim her love to Eita. But this isn’t real love, as Masuzu just wants to use Eita as a fake boyfriend and pretty much blackmailed him into it but if you think about it, it’s kinda mutual since they both are not interested in love and Masuzu is just sick and tired of getting love letters and being asked out. Second episode pretty much just builds into it a bit more with Chiwa getting jealous and wanting to become more popular than Masuzu and so Masuzu started a club to “make females popular.” Like I said, don’t know where it’s going yet but I’m kinda digging it so far.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou) – 6/10

Still currently got this at a 6 out of 10 because nothing really ground breaking has happen in the series as of yet. Kanda still doesn’t have a clue on female feelings and I almost want to punch him in the face but it’s not enough reason to drop it down any (at least not yet).

Amnesia – ?/10

One thing about me is that I normally give up to episode two before I give it a based rating. Only one episode is currently out for this series with another one coming out in about 4 hours or so. Not sure where it’s going yet but all I know is that some girl regains consciousness, confused, not knowing where she’s at, a spirit that calls himself Orion is following her and trying to explains things to her, and that she has to regain her memories by interacting with people? Yea… like I said, not sure where it’s going but I’ll at least give the second episode a try.

Cuticle Detective Inaba – 1/10 – Dropped

This is one that I dropped after watching the first episode. Although it had its moments and it was funny, it didn’t really kept my interest and the story wasn’t great I think, so yep, dropped.

And with that covers what I’ve watched so far, as I said, not much, been busy with personal life and other projects but I’ll try to start watching episodes here and there of different series so I can post what I currently think of them.

You’d better write more clearly than just put out your bad mood.
